Qualcomm is releasing a successor to that device in the form of its own Snapdragon Developer Kit, which is now rocking the latest 12-core X Elite chip in an 80w system.

At that price, why not just release it as an official consumer device and sell it by the droves? That quality of processing at that price in that form factor on Windows is awesome.

Besides creating a developer account with Microsoft or Qualcomm (probably easy) what’s stopping us consumers from getting this as a day to day device?
